|Team||New York Mets|
|Style||Double Knit Sewn-In Zigzag (Narrow)|
|Color||Blue Stripe on White Fabric|
|Years Used||Early 1970s|
When the Mets switched to double knit uniforms in 1972, the blue pinstripes stayed. The style used for all pinstripe uniforms of the time was a rather sloppy zigzag. These stripes were only used until the mid-1970s when they were replaced by a printed version.
Fun Fact: Willie Mays made his only Mets appearances in this uniform’s era.
